Resolutions Calling for a moratorium on MCAS
A growing number of Massachusetts communities have taken a position or passed resolutions calling for a moratorium on MCAS testing. If your district is not on this list, learn more about passing Resolution 1: MCAS and High-Stakes Testing, as approved by the Massachusetts Association of School Committees.

If your school committee has passed a #CancelMCAS resolution and is not listed, let your MTA field rep/organizer know when the vote takes place, whether it was unanimous, and whether a message was sent to elected officials and what, if anything, the response was. Also, send an email to that effect to Lisa Guisbond, executive director of Citizens for Public Schools so she can update the tracker.
